Made to private commission, this tea set with teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, and tray is based on a tea dance. The characters include the client’s family, and even favourite pets! The seventh magpie forms the catch, with a very special diamond from the client’s engagement ring in its beak. The colours capture the iridescence of magpie feathers and work well with the lustre of the pearls.
