Moth Jacket Pins
Peach Blossom, Cream-Spot Tiger, and Dark Crimson Underwing Moths. Handmade in silver, 18ct gold, and enamel with 22ct gold cloissons. These Jacket Pins have such a life like quality to them, achieved by carving the metal before enamelling to capture the signature ‘hairy’ veiny look of the moth wing. The enamel itself uses a cloissone technique, which Fred calls micro cloissone, and uses 22ct gold wire which is only 0.05mm thick. Whilst difficult to control, it enables Fred to achieve very fine patterns in the enamel.

Enamelled bands

Seahorse Pendant Brooch
Diamonds and aquamarines form bubbles in the water around a beautiful seahorse entwined in seaweed. The diamond set loop clicks back out of view when worn as a brooch. A diamond set enamelled catch and heavy 18ct gold chain complete this wonderful piece. 18ct gold, diamond, aquamarines, and enamel with 22ct gold cloissons.
Aquamarine Bangle

Sapphire & Pearl Necklace
An 18ct gold centrepiece set with a sapphire, edged with diamonds on a pearl necklace with an enamelled catch. The peculiar colour of the sapphire is beautifully complimented by the sensitive colour palette of the enamel.
Orchid Brooch & Stand
This brooch is as beautifully enamelled on the back as it is on the front and can be displayed on a silver stem in a silver pot when not worn. A simple clip enables it to be easily removed when required.
18ct gold, diamonds, and enamel with 22ct gold cloissons, on a sterling silver stem and pot.
Magpie necklace
Seven thieving magpies with black pearls in their beaks, and clasping diamond encrusted twigs. The seventh magpie forms the catch, with a very special diamond from the client’s engagement ring in its beak. The colours capture the iridescence of magpie feathers and work well with the lustre of the pearls.
18ct gold, diamonds, black pearls, grey spinel, and enamel with 22ct gold cloissons.
